Singapore Blockchain Startup Perlin is helping the world’s largest trading organization. International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), rolls out the technology. The company confirmed in a press release on April 12.
Perlin, who is already involved in blockchain pilots for various major businesses, including Asia Pacific Ryan, will now gain access to ICC members because the organization tries to bring new technologies to the fore.
Now a hundred years old, the ICC calculates 45 million businesses under its wing. Which includes Amazon, Coca Cola, FedEx, McDonald’s and PayPal.
ICC Secretary-General John Denton Ao said in a press release, “With the cooperation of Perlin, […] we can help in facilitating practical and really disruptive change for businesses in every conceivable industry sector.”
The partnership will take different forms. But focus on the value chain traceability – the tracking of goods through its stages of production and distribution.
The area has already been far above the Blockchain Sector, whose solution is to improve the design of the entire supply chain from food to metals.
Singapore will also benefit itself. In which Perlin and the ICC have promised to pursue regional initiatives to improve their position as a technical hub.
As Reported, the city-state places itself as a block-friendly jurisdiction. The central bank is preparing to start its project Ubine initiative among others next year.
